Megan Laverick-Smith

ADHD Practitioner

'Megan has worked within the mental health sector for over 12 years firstly with a degree in psychology from the University of Sussex which gave her a deep understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders. She then went on to specialise as a mental health nurse, with a particular focus on working with both adult and children inpatient acute services.

Dedicated to improving care, Megan collaborates closely with a wide range of professionals, to help diagnose and support individuals with ADHD. Her expertise is enhanced by her training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which equips her with a skill-based approach to therapy designed to help individuals focus on the present and cultivate healthier, more balanced lives through managing the symptoms of ADHD.

Megan is driven by the belief that mental health care should be both compassionate and transformative, offering individuals the support and the correct diagnosis they need to thrive.'
