Sarah Essel

ADOS ASSESOR

Sarah Essel is a dedicated healthcare professional specialising in ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and learning disabilities. With extensive experience in assessment, diagnosis, and individualised treatment planning, Sarah is skilled at supporting individuals with complex developmental needs. Most recently, as an ADHD Nurse, she conducted comprehensive evaluations, managed ADHD medication, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to design tailored treatment strategies. Sarah’s role also involved delivering educational sessions for patients and families, coordinating with external agencies, and overseeing junior staff to maintain high standards of care.


Sarah works as an ASD Assessment Practitioner, performing diagnostic evaluations and supporting young people and adults on the autism spectrum. Her approach emphasises a patient-centered, holistic perspective, ensuring that each individual receives compassionate, effective care tailored to their unique needs. With recent training in ADHD assessment and ADOS-2 and ADI-R autism assessments, Sarah is equipped with clinically reliable methods to support individuals with ADHD, ASD, and learning disabilities, providing them with the tools to thrive and achieve improved quality of life.

ADOS-2 (autism diagnostic observation schedule second edition) and ADI-R (Autism diagnostic interview revised) course Trained and equipped to administer and code the ADOS-2 and the ADI-R to the level of Clinical Reliability.
